Scientists from the University of Florida found previously unknown population of vampire moths in Siberia.
Researchers think that bloodthirsty insects are next step of evolution from ordinary fruit-eating moths. Lines on the wings allow suggesting that little Draculas are close relatives of Calyptra thalictri moth, common for Central and Southern Europe.
