During the ceremony of signing state contract on building new research vessel for the Russian Antarctic Expedition authorities said the Russia resumed construction of research fleet for exploring Arctic and Antarctic regions and the World Ocean.
Flagship will be laid down at the oldest Russian shipbuilding facility “Admiralteiskie Verfi”, which recently celebrated its 300th anniversary.
