Tests of new unmanned submersion vehicle were successfully finished at the “Baltiyskiy Zavod” plant in St. Petersburg. New vehicle is able to dive as deep as 10 thousand meters.
Deep-diving vehicle, consisting of two globes (operational and instrumental) and a buoyancy block, will perform science and research missions. Developers keep vehicle’s cost and customer’s name a secret, however, we know that the order originates from Russia.
